The announcement was made at McKesson’s 2009 National Sales Meeting in Nashville, Tenn. The Supplier of the Year Award recognizes medical suppliers and vendors for their strong commitment to collaboration and ability to achieve shared goals, according to the release. Criteria such as customer service excellence, sales profitability, operational efficiency, delivery of customer value throughout the supply chain and successful collaboration with McKesson on product launches, promotions and other joint marketing activities are also considered for the award.
