500 Medical Coding Specialists Join AHIMA

More than 500 members of the American College of Medical Coding Specialists have joined the American Health Information Management Association, according to DotMed.

The ACMCS members voted to joint AHIMA’s more than 64,000 health information professionals. They will bring coding expertise and advice to the organization. They will also lead a group to collaboration on strategies to address physician market needs.
