Ophthalmologist Dr. O. Lee Mullis Dead at 75

Ophthalmologist O. Lee Mullis, MD, has died, according to a News Herald report.

Dr. Mullis, who lived in Panama City, Fla., died Dec. 12. He was 75.

 

Dr. Mullis is credited with building the first medical office for the Mullis Eye Institute in Florida.

 

He earned his MD from University of Maryland, completed an internship at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pa., and completed an ophthalmology residency at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
