Drs. Pooja Elias and Nilesh Lohdia Join Medical University of South Carolina Digestive Disease Service Line

Pooja Elias, MD, and Nilesh Lohdia, MD, have joined the digestive disease service line of Medical University of South Carolina, according to a report in The Digest (pdf), a MUSC Health Digestive Disease Center newsletter.

Dr. Elias is an assistant professor of medicine degree. Her interests include endoscopic ultrasound, Barrett’s ablation therapy and therapeutic endoscopy. She received her MD from Tulane University, completed a residency at Temple University Hospital and a fellowship at MUSC. Dr. Elias is board certified in internal medicine.

 

Dr. Lohdia is an instructor. He received his MD from Wake Forest University, and then completed a residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a fellowship at University of Tennessee. Dr. Lohdia is board certified in internal medicine.
