Minnesota Orthopedics Group Building New Clinic

Twin Cities Orthopedics, an independent physicians group, is building a new clinic in Edina, Minn., to consolidate three locations in the surrounding area, according to a report in Finance and Commerce.

The Orthopedic Center of Excellence, a 75,000 square-foot building, is expected to open in the summer of 2010. The new building is a joint venture with Minnetonka, Minn.-based Hegenes Properties.

The new location will include a clinic, a surgery center, therapy facilities and orthotic and prosthetic services, according to the report. Thirty physicians will be based at the clinic, and the location is near to Fairview Southdale Hospital.
