AZ’s Southwestern Eye Center Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Southwestern Eye Center, based in Mesa, Ariz., is celebrating its 30th anniversary, according to a Republic report.

The practice was founded in 1982 by ophthalmologist L. Lothaire Bluth, MD, who serves as its president.

 

Southwestern Eye Center has 24 locations throughout Arizona and New Mexico, with surgery centers in the Arizona cities of Mesa, Casa Grande, Safford, Nogales, Yuma, Prescott, Phoenix, Sun City, Sierra Vista, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Lakeside, Cottonwood and Kingman. Its most recently opened center is located in Deming, N.M.

 

Southwestern Eye Center has 16 ophthalmologists and 17 optometrists on staff, according to the report. Its services include comprehensive eye exams, screenings for glaucoma, cataract and retinal surgery, and cosmetic and refractive surgeries.
