Florida’s Lee County Agrees to Pay More Than $950K to Medicaid

Lee County in Florida will pay that state $955,774 to settle unpaid Medicaid charges, according to the News-Press.

The County Commission accepted the state’s offer, which is down from the originally estimated $4.5 million owed.

The county needs to pay at least $318,000 in the coming fiscal year and cut $1 million from its spending budget to bring revenue and spending in line.
