Moria Launches New Ophthalmic Surgical Instruments

Moria has announced the launch of a new range of ophthalmic surgical instruments, according to a news release.

The initial launch of instruments includes those most commonly used in cataract and corneal surgery, according to the company.

 

They feature tips of surgical steel surrounded by handles fabricated from the composite polymer PEEK.

 

Future additions to the composite line of instruments are planned as well.

 

Moria has its U.S. headquarters in Doylestown, Pa.
