Scott Morledge-Hampton, MD, and his wife, Diane Morledge-Hampton, have been planning the $2.5 million project for two years, according to the report. Originally, they had planned to build an ASC in the basement of their current building but decided on the new center after land came up for sale.
The new building will house the eye clinic with room for three ophthalmologists on the first floor and a single, Medicare-approved operating room on the second floor. Construction is expected to be completed by May 2010.
