Dr. Paustian said “the failing economy, numerous lay-offs and the progression of healthcare changes have led to many families with high-deductible insurance and other with no insurance. Opening Paustian Medical & Surgical … will allow the community a new option that focuses around true patient care and affordable rates.”

The surgical center is at Living Well Health and Fitness Center in Neillsville, but plans for a new, 10,000-square-foot facility are underway. Dr. Paustian said the facility should be open by spring 2013.
