The camcorder is designed to record the 3D video seen by a surgeon using an operating microscope. An operating microscope is used in a number of surgical fields including neurosurgery, ophthalmology and ENT, and is typically used to perform microsurgery, according to the report.
The camcorder, MCC-3000MT, will be released September 17.
