Dr. John Adams Joins Anesthesiology Faculty at University of Mississippi Medical Center

John L. Adams, MD, has joined the University of Mississippi Medical Center faculty as an assistant professor of anesthesiology.

Dr. Adams earned his MD from UMMC and completed his residency training in internal medicine at Methodist Hospital Central in Memphis, Tenn., and at Barnes Hospital at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo.

Dr. Adams previously served as a partner anesthesiologist with Surgical Anesthesia Associates in Jackson, Miss., and as a staff anesthesiologist at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss. Most recently, he served as director of anesthesia for the Akeso Management Group in Vicksburg.
