Anesthesiologist Named Dean of Iowa College of Medicine

The University of Iowa College of Medicine this week named anesthesiologists Debra A. Schwinn, MD, its next dean, according to a Press-Citizen report.

Dr. Schwinn currently serves as professor and chair of the department of anesthesiology and pain medicine and as adjunct professor of pharmacology and genome sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle. She will assume her new position in November.
