Gastroenterologist Dr. Harvey Lefton Named President of Philadelphia County Medical Society

Gastroenterologist Harvey Lefton, MD, has been named the 151st president of the Philadelphia County Medical Society, according to a news release.

Dr.  Lefton serves as chief of gastroenterology at Aria Health in Philadelphia and is a faculty member at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.

 

Dr. Lefton is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Pa., and of the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his internship, his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital.
