B. Braun Medical Launches Continuous Peripheral Nerve Blocks System

B. Braun Medical has announced it has created the Contiplex FX system for continuous peripheral nerve blocks, according to a news release from B. Braun.

The system is intended to support providers who no longer utilize a dual guidance or stimulation approach, as well as blocks that can be performed without the aid of stimulation, according to the release.

 

Key features of the FX system include an echogenic springwound catheter, rigid catheter body and a sideport valve. Contiplex FX is available in both open and closed tip catheter configurations and will be available in trays designed for ultrasound-guided catheter placement.
