As the co-founder and CEO of Pinnacle III, Richard DeHart provides Pinnacle III’s clients with expertise in strategic planning, development and management of ASCs, diagnostic imaging and physical rehabilitation services. Mr. DeHart established Pinnacle III in 1999 and has more than 18 years of experience in the outpatient healthcare industry.
Prior to Pinnacle III’s inception, Mr. DeHart managed 14 ASCs in five states for a publicly traded surgery center company. He also provided operational services for several outpatient rehabilitation facilities. He graduated from California State University at Chico.
Mr. DeHart, along with Pinnacle III President Robert Carrera and Executive Vice President Scott Thomas, recently discussed effective communications between surgery centers and surgery center development and management companies in a Becker’s ASC Review article.
“Hold your consulting company accountable,” Mr. DeHart said. “It’s unfortunate when ASC consulting companies hand off the blame to a counterpart in the project. The role of a company like ours is to ensure that when problems occur — and they will occur — they are addressed and resolved regardless of how or why the issue arose.”
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
