UCLA Ambulatory Surgery and Oncology Center in Santa Monica Honored for Design

The design studio that worked on UCLA Ambulatory Surgery and Oncology Center in Santa Monica, Calif., was awarded two Honor Design Awards from the Westside Urban Forum, according to a Santa Monica Daily Press report.

This year’s jury said the UCLA surgery center, designed by Michael W. Folonis Architects, was “very well executed and brought in great daylight.” The Westside Urban Forum Design Awards recognize L.A.-based projects, programs, policies and studies that demonstrate excellence in city-making and community-building.
