Physicians Want More Family Time, Flexible Schedules

Most physicians feel that they sacrifice their personal health due to busy work schedules, according to a survey from Weatherby Healthcare. Among 1,000 physicians surveyed across the U.S., 94 percent said they would like a more accommodating schedule while maintaining credibility and regular patients.

Physicians indicated that they made lifestyle sacrifices to order to maintain busy work schedules, including a lack of exercise (44 percent), vacations (43 percent), volunteer work (41 percent) and family time (38 percent).
