The Olean General Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center, which will be located across from the hospital’s main campus, is a $10.3 million project consisting of a more than 15,000-square-foot addition and a complete renovation of about 6,400 square feet of existing space.

Features of the surgery center include four new operating suites and three endoscopy labs.

Groundbreaking for construction of the ASC began in October 2010.

The C/N Group has provided consulting services to the hospital in conjunction with development of the surgery center, according to earlier reports.

The center is expected to serve more than 6,500 patients in its first year of operation.
