Todd Beyer, DO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculofacial-plastic surgeon at Novus Clinic in Tallmadge, Ohio, where he serves as president. Dr. Beyer specializes in LASIK and refractive surgery, oculofacial-plastic surgery and advanced cataract/lens implant surgery. He and therapeutically licensed optometrist Jerry Sude, OD, partnered to open System Optics in 1992. The facility later expanded to include an on-site ambulatory surgery center in 1998, which now includes a vast array of eye and plastic healthcare services. System Optics eventually underwent a name change — to Novus Clinic — to better reflect the comprehensive and high-quality care offered at the facility.

In addition to helping lead Novus Clinic, Dr. Beyer serves on the board of directors of the Ohio Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers. He also has extensive experience teaching his area of expertise. Dr. Beyer has served as clinical assistant professor and director of ophthalmology at the University of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and held appointments as clinical faculty assistant in oculoplastics at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland and clinical assistant professor at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.

A true expert in his field, Dr. Beyer also is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Society of Refractive Surgery and Summit County Medical Society.
