Amerinet Releases 2008 Fiscal Report

Amerinet, a leading national healthcare group purchasing organization, released its fiscal results for 2008, which included $386 million in contract portfolio savings and rebates for members and overall membership growth of 21 percent, according to an Amerinet news release.

Additionally, the release highlighted several achievements of the company over the past year including the development of an executive briefing series; a partnership with SCMetrix, one of the nation’s largest business schools recognized internationally for its leadership in supply chain management; an initiative to reduce high-dollar implant costs; the establishment of the company’s “GreenCare” initiative; and the development of Amerinet Quality Solutions, a program designed to assist provider members with customized products, services and best-practice processes.
