SC Gastroenterology Practice Joins AnMed Health Physician Network

Consultative Gastroenterology in Anderson, S.C., has joined the AnMed Health Physician Network, according to an Anderson Observer report.

Consultative Gastroenterology is the medical practice of Shahzad Sheikh, MD, a board-certified gastroenterologist who graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine, based in Grenada, West Indies, and completed his residency and fellowship training at Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital.

 

Under the arrangement, Consultative Gastroenterology has changed its name to AnMed Health Gastroenterology Specialists.

 

AnMed Health is a 573-bed health system based in Anderson and anchored by the 461-bed AnMed Health Medical Center.
