Syracuse Community General Hospital Begins Construction on Orthopedics Center

Community General Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., has begun construction on a $7.6 million Center for Orthopedics, which will occupy the hospital’s sixth floor, according to a Community General news release.

The Center for Orthopedics will perform hip resurfacing, total hip replacement, knee replacement and surgical spine procedures and will offer a “Steps to Wellness” program.

Construction is expected to be completed in Jan. 2010.
