Former CEO of Indiana Eye Surgery Center Sentenced to Two Years for Stealing $80k From Center

Dorian “Frank” Winconek, former CEO of a Muncie, Ind., surgery center, has been sentenced to two years in prison for stealing more than $80,000 from the center, according to a Canadian Business report.

A Delaware Circuit Court judge also ordered Mr. Winconek to serve two years of probation and perform 240 hours of community service. Mr. Winconek pleaded guilty in January to five counts of theft and agreed to pay $78,000 to the now-closed surgery center.

Mr. Winconek allegedly used a company credit card to finance ballroom dancing lessons, repairs for his car and furniture for his home.
