According to Cindy Nelson and Juli Young, the co-founders of Here2Help, a company that provides non-medical necessities that accompany surgery, the introduction of a new surgery center to the area can bring hundreds of patients to Vail. The more activity brought in by a surgical center, the more likely it is that concierge businesses will also crop up.

Surgical patients can take advantage of concierge businesses by paying them to arrange a condominium for rent, transportation and other amenities. Patients sometimes travel long distances to visit Vail, which is the home of The Steadman Clinic and other notable surgical facilities.
