According to the report, the ASCAPAC was instrumental in the removal of the same-day surgery restriction, the granting of higher-than-expected reimbursement for surgery centers, the postponing of quality reporting until Oct. 1, 2012, and the Small Business Paperwork Elimination Act.
The ASCAPAC also worked to introduce the ASC Quality and Access Act of 2011 and help 12 state ASC delegations travel to Washington, D.C., to lobby their members of Congress.
