The new surgery center will add new operating rooms, same-day surgery beds and procedure rooms. The surgery center is scheduled for completion in the next few weeks, and construction supervisor Marcello Pierrottet said the outside of the building should be sealed imminently.

The surgery center project has been in the works for several years, according to the report.
