ASCA’s Medicare Calculator Updated With 2012 Payable Procedures and Rate Corrections

The Ambulatory Surgery Center Association has updated its rate calculator to include a list of payable procedures accounting for the recent physician rate extension and the 2012 rate corrections.

The calculator is housed in an Excel document on the ASCA homepage and allows ASCs to calculate local rates by inserting their local wage index.

For each CPT code, the 2012 national payment rate and the local payment rate are shown, in addition to the wage adjusted Medicare payment portion and wage adjusted patient payment portion.
