Intubation Deemed One of Four Risk Factors for MRSA

Researchers found intubation, existence of open wound, treatment with antibiotics and steroid administration to be risk factors for healthcare-acquired MRSA infection in hospital ICUs, according to a study published in BMC Infectious Diseases.
