Noise in Patient Rooms Can Reach Double the Recommended Level

Researchers studied approximately 100 adult patients at a medical center and found noise levels in some patients’ rooms sometimes reached 80 decibels, twice the maximum 30-40 decibel level recommended by the World Health Organization, according to a Reuters report.
