ACPE and AONE Offer Resources for Tackling Disruptive Behavior

The American College of Physician Executives and the American Organization of Nurse Executives are offering resources to help healthcare facility leaders manage disruptive physician behavior.

The resources come in response to a mandate by the Joint Commission requiring that facilities adopt zero-tolerance policies for disruptive behavior, which went into effect Jan. 1.

The ACEP and AONE have created a joint website, which offers resource including e-books, web-based courses and journal articles on the topic.
