The author writes that stand-alone plans for dental are already allowed under the plan, and the same needs to be done for vision care.
“Vision care is rarely mentioned in the health care reform act. Obama should elevate the importance of routine vision care by allowing the 13.4 million Californians and 60 million Americans who use stand-alone vision plans to retain their current eye doctors and insurance coverage,” the author wrote.
