MedStar Health, Novant Health and Sentara Healthcare Form MNS Supply Chain Network

MedStar Health, Novant Health and Sentara Healthcare formed the MNS Supply Chain Network, which represents more than $3 billion in annual purchases of supplies and services, according to a Sentara Healthcare news release.

The network will operate as a single entity and has formed a partnership with VHA, a national hospital alliance. MedStar Health is a $4 billion not-for-profit, regional healthcare system operating in Maryland and the Washington, D.C. region. Novant Health is a $3.5 billion not-for-profit integrated system operating in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Sentara Healthcare is a $5 billion not-for-profit integrated health system operating in Virginia.
