Description
The executive vice president of ambulatory services will provide oversight and direction to the national outpatient services and practices of this organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role will be responsible for growing the business, increasing revenue and profits and improving performance within the ambulatory services business. The role will also improve performance in insurance/risk products and physician practices across the country. The role will coordinate ambulatory operations utilizing effective review, analysis and benchmark to refine medical practice operations, processes and systems to achieve a high level of efficiency and best practice.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience working a large, investor-owned health system or similar health organization where success has been proven
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry and relationships with leaders in this market
• Strong history of growth through acquisition, alliances, JV and other partnership arrangements
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Graduate degree (MBA, MHA or related Master’s degree) from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience, with 5-10 years of progressive growth in a responsible ambulatory service leadership role
