In a letter to GSA COO Mike Rickman this week, the head of the State Health Planning and Development Agency wrote the surgical group’s planned expansion would not exceed the $720,000 threshold requiring state approval.
According to the report, the expansion will equip two additional operating rooms and one procedure room at the group’s surgical facility, costing an estimated $170,000.
As patient volumes continue to climb in 2012, Mr. Rickman said the group could add up to 10 additional employees.
