Nebraska Spine Hospital, which provides specialty spinal care and operates within the Immanuel Medical Center, is a partnership among Health Inventures, Alegent Health and Nebraska Spine Center, a specialty spine physician practice.
The hospital served 1,230 patients in its first year, exceeding projections by 15 percent.
In the partnership, Health Inventures is responsible for the hospital’s day-to-day operations, development and implementation of strategic plans, human resource management and development and maintenance of accreditation, licensure and certification; Nebraska Spine Center contributes the clinical and research expertise; and Alegent Health supports managed care contracting and ancillary services provision.
Health Inventures was responsible for developing a plan to create a mutually beneficial business for all of the partners, according to the release.
