Stryker Subpoena Suit Against DOJ Dismissed

A federal district court dismissed a suit brought by Stryker Corp., which was seeking to quash a subpoena issued by the U.S. Department of Justice, according to published reports.

Stryker called the subpoena, issued in conjuction with an investigation into violations of the Stark law and anti-kickback statute, "oppressive and overly broad," according to reports.

The district court stated that it lacked the subject matter jurisdiction to review the case.
