New Virginia Surgery Center Proposal for Lake Ridge Under Review

Sentara Potomac Hospital, based in Woodbridge, Vir., is seeking permission from the Virginia Health Department to relocate an operating room from its hospital to a new surgery center in Lake Ridge, Vir., according to a Washington Business Journal report.

If approved, the 7,000-square-foot outpatient center would open in June 2012. It would be included a 43,000-square-foot that will include physician offices, an emergency room and diagnostic imaging tools, according to the report.
