Miami-based cardiology group MyCardiologist opened the MyCardiologist Ambulatory Care Center, a new outpatient cardiovascular facility located in Miami Lakes, Fla.

The center focuses exclusively on cardiovascular care and is staffed by experienced cardiologists and clinical personnel. It serves established MyCardiologist patients who need specialized cardiovascular procedures and care.

MyCardiologist built the center to move specialized cardiovascular procedures into an outpatient setting and to give referring physicians another option for coordinating their patients’ cardiac care.

Harry Aldrich, MD, a cardiologist with MyCardiologist, said the group designed the center so patients could receive care in a setting “focused entirely on their needs.”

The group said the Miami Lakes opening is part of MyCardiologist’s continued growth and expands its capacity to care for patients throughout South Florida.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
