As president, Dr. Kefalas will direct the organization’s programs, including continuing medical education, activities involving national and state medical affairs, health policy issues and clinical investigation, according to an Oct. 13 news release from the American College of Gastroenterology.

“The ACG has been my professional home for 26 years,” Dr. Kefalas said in the release. “Beyond its premier clinical resources, I deeply value the networking, friendships, and camaraderie developed over my two and a half decades of membership and am honored to serve the College.”
