Terry Reardon, MD, will close his Georgetown, S.C.-based internal medicine practice later this year, according to a Sept. 28 Facebook post.
Dr. Reardon will see patients through Dec. 14 and will continue providing emergency care and honoring scheduled appointments until then.The practice may provide prescription refills through Dec. 31 when appropriate, including up to 12 months for noncontrolled medications and up to one month for controlled medications.
Patients are being encouraged to establish care with another provider to ensure continuity of care. Medical records can be transferred to a new provider at no charge with a completed release form.
