Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health is planning to open an ASC at its Pleasanton (Calif.) Care Complex.
The 64,000-square-foot care complex, which opened to patients Sept. 21, provides services including orthopedics, ophthalmology, gastroenterology and general surgery, according to a Sept. 25 news release from Sutter Health.
The facility’s ASC is expected to open in January 2027.
“By building the right care in the right locations, we are making it easier for patients to receive care where they need it, when they need it,” Mat Hernandez, MD, chief medical officer of Sutter Health’s Greater Silicon Valley Division, said in the release.
