Walla Walla, Wash.-based Seleverstov Medical is permanently closing its doors, according to a notice posted on the practice’s website.
The practice is asking patients with urgent medical needs to seek care at urgent care clinics or emergency rooms in the interim. Medical requests relayed to the office before Sept. 8, along with care-coordination requests from other medical professionals, will still be addressed, but the practice can no longer accept new requests and is urging patients to establish care with a new primary care provider.
Prescription refills must now be requested through patients’ pharmacies rather than the clinic, and medical records can be accessed through the MyChart patient portal or requested via a Release of Information form, which will carry a standard processing fee. The practice said it will continue monitoring messages through Sept. 30.
