Cogdell Spencer Announces New Regional Presidents for Erdman

Cogdell Spencer has named three new regional presidents for Erdman, the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, according to news releases.

Paul Aigner was named president of the Northwest Region. Mr. Aigner will focus on developing and maintaining client relationships and will be responsible for all design-build and development projects in the region, which includes Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Prior to joining Cogdell Spencer, Mr. Aigner owned and operated a project management/owner’s representative firm that assisted healthcare clients in all phases of project development from pre-design through construction administration.

Susan Dorr was named president of the Southeast Region.

Ms. Dorr will have a similar work focus as Mr. Aigner. Her region includes Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Ms. Dorr previously served as president and CEO of Consera Healthcare Real Estate, a full service real estate company specializing in management and development of healthcare facilities in the Southeast, which was acquired by Cogdell Spencer in 2006.

Matthew Nurkin was named president of the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Mr. Nurkin will have similar responsibilities as Mr. Aigner and Ms. Dorr. His region includes North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Mr. Nurkin joined Cogdell Spencer Advisors in 1996 to expand the company’s activities in the ownership and debt restructuring of existing hospital and physician-owned facilities. His prior experience includes the analysis of various investments, including real estate, public/private equity and derivative instruments.
