Two cardiologists in Wichita Falls, Texas, are closing their practices, according to a Sept. 8 report from Wichita Falls Times Record News.
Shona Sudarshan, MD, and Sriram Sudarshan, MD, are retiring from practice at North Texas Cardiology Center. Their practices will close Jan. 1, 2027.
The cardiologists received the 2018 Distinguished Service Award from the Wichita County Medical Society.
“We are eternally grateful to our patients,” the physicians said in a public notice. “Thank you for the opportunity to serve the community for over 45 years.”
Patients can request a transfer of their medical records to another cardiologist or obtain a copy of their records. The records will remain available after the closure, the report said.
