Miami-based Gastro Health has named Amanda Connoyer, DNP, vice president of advanced practice strategy and operations, according to a news release shared with Becker’s Sept. 8.
Ms. Connoyer will oversee engagement, development and retention strategies for advanced practice providers across Gastro Health’s national network of practices. She joins from Beebe Healthcare in Delaware, where she served as chief advanced practice clinician.
Ms. Connoyer is a family nurse practitioner with more than two decades of clinical and administrative experience. At Beebe Healthcare, she launched the health system’s first advanced practice provider transition-to-practice program and its first ThriveAP partnership in Delaware.
Gene Hernandez, MD, Gastro Health’s chief medical officer, said Ms. Connoyer’s leadership record and clinical expertise as a family nurse practitioner make her “a great addition to our team.”
Gastro Health is a national medical group focused on digestive and liver health, and the new role reflects a broader push across the organization to strengthen its advanced practice workforce.
