North Arkansas Rural Health Consortium is planning a regional hub centered around Vitality Plus Ambulatory Surgery in Baxter County, Ark.
The organization received a $1 million grant as part of $93.6 million in funding through the Promoting Access Coordination and Transformation priority, according to an Aug. 27 news release from Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
The hub will also include telehealth, remote patient monitoring, presurgical testing, clinical integration, mobile specialty care, value-based care infrastructure and AI-enabled health technology.
The funding is part of $149.3 million in awards to recipients of the first round of Rural Health Transformation Program grants, the release said.
