The Massachusetts Office of Health and Human Services provides a free, downloadable poster to encourage proper hand hygiene.

The poster, titled “‘Your health is in your clean hands,” reminds staff members of why hand hygiene is important; provides guidelines for when to use soap and water and when to use soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub and gel; and outlines four steps staff members should always take to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
