ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialist in N.J. Receives HLAC Accreditation

The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council, an independent, third-party inspection organization for healthcare laundry facilities, has awarded the Clifton, N.J., branch of ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists HLAC Accreditation, according to an ImageFIRST news release.

The HLAC accreditation of the Clifton, N.J., branch closely follows accreditation awarded to the company’s Central Florida branch.

This accreditation assures customers that ImageFIRST in Clifton, N.J., is meeting or exceeding the industry’s highest standards for processing healthcare textiles, including strict adherence to federal guidelines. HLAC’s accreditation process ensures healthcare laundering services follow OSHA’S bloodborne pathogens standard, properly trains all personnel who handle healthcare textiles and follows recommended “good industry practices” in its systems, policies and procedures, among other requirements.
