Toledo, Ohio-based Wildwood Surgical Center provided notice of a data security breach that impacted patient information.
On June 26, 2025, the center was alerted to suspicious activity on its network. After an investigation, it was determined that certain information was accessed and acquired from the organization’s network without authorization between June 24 and 26, 2025, according to a July 13, 2026, notice from Wildwood Surgical Center.
Information that may have been accessed includes names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or passport numbers, dates of birth, medical treatment and diagnostic information, health insurance information, and medical billing information.
Upon learning of the breach, Wildwood Surgical Center took parts of its network offline and implemented additional tools, the notice said.
